Thank you to everyone as always with your cooperation around wearing masks and social distancing at college.
The practical sessions at college do, at times, require work in what the BAcC has identified as 'high risk' areas: the face and anterior neck. The current BAcC guidelines state that when working with high risk areas of the body a mask and visor should be worn; to avoid droplets from the nose and mouth which may pose a potential hazard.
When a practical class involves working with these areas of the body you will be required to wear a mask and visor. Practical classes which have been identified include:
- Tongue diagnosis
- Anatomy classes which include the face and anterior neck
- Point location classes which include face and anterior neck points
Please ensure you have a visor and bring it with you to relevant sessions. This will also include Friday Point Location and Practical Skills sessions.
